    Chinese (Traditional) Character 'FU'
Fu is one of the Chinese characters that best epitomize China's time-honored culture. Fu, means fortune, blessing or happiness. In the past, the character mainly meant luck and fortune. The tradition of pasting the character Fu on walls, doors and doorposts has existed in China for a long time. The character can also be pasted upside down, because in Chinese the upside down fu is similar to the pronunciation for - Fu Dao le - which means Fu has arrived.

    The Chinese dragon
A mythical creature that also appears in other East Asian cultures. It was first seen on totems of ancient tribes in China. It is usually depicted as a long, snake-like creature and has long been a potent symbol of royalty, fortune and power. It is often associated as the bringer of rain and water. Yellow or Golden Dragons with five claws on each foot, symbolised the Emperor in many Chinese dynasties. The number of claws also has significance. Generally, Chinese dragons have five, Indonesian and Korean dragons four and Japanese dragons three. The number nine is considered lucky in China and Chinese dragons are frequently associated with it.
